Dick joined SKDO shortly after graduating from college in 1981 and has spent his entire career with the firm. As a partner, he serves a wide range of small business and individual clients, offering both tax preparation and consulting. He has extensive experience assisting clients with planning and decisions from the initial purchase to final sale of business interests, guiding them through many financial and management aspects of running a business, including understanding their financial information, cash flow management, securing bank financing, and tax planning.

Dick can always be relied on for an enthusiastic, friendly greeting that can brighten anyone’s day. He is known for having a servant’s heart, both within the workplace and beyond. His care for everyone he encounters is evident in his ability to make everyone feel listened to and special. He attributes his success in the field to a combination of hard work, relating to people on their level, and just enjoying what he does.

Growing up as a foster child in Hobart, Indiana has helped to shape his life. He started working hard at a young age and was inspired to pursue a career in accounting after taking an introductory accounting class in high school. He and his wife, Rhonda, have gone on to open up their home as foster parents, as well as adopting three of their five children. Dick enjoys Bourbonnais for its size, people, activities, and proximity to Chicago. Outside of the office, he enjoys bike riding, reading, participating in ministry activities, and spending time with his grandchildren.
